Mooch is delighted to be part of the team working with Emily Peasgood on her sound art commission for Fort Burgoyne in Dover. This historic military site is to be developed and Emily will create a sound installation on the West Battery site which will eventually be open to the public. After a year of getting organised, crossing the T’s and dotting the I’s, the planning application is back and live for PERFUGIUM MISERIS. We had to submit a brand new planning application in order to put the work back in its original location on the Harbour wall. We had many fantastic letters of support for the original application and hope that people would be as generous for this new one. We expect a decision from Thanet District Council in November this year, and then we can hopefully get moving to deliver this iconic artwork for the beautiful town of Ramsgate.
