Dome Doodle Chairs

In 2007 Mooch created a project about the Dome that was due to become the O2. 12 chairs were placed around Trinity Buoy Wharf, where Mooch had a container studio. The plain white chairs had a question about the Dome on each chair and a marker pen tied to it.

Over the course of a Summer the chairs were just left out for people to respond to and the white space filled with comments, doodles and general enjoyment. It was a low key but really successful project that just allowed people to stop, think and share their ideas in an open, fun and often surreal way.

“What do you think would be a good use for the Dome now?”
Turn it upside down and use it as a cereal bowl!
